SAFETY MANAGER To join their team and ensure compliance with local safety regulations and workplace safety protocols across various construction sites in Barcelona, Spain.
With a strong presence in the global market, the company provides safe and reliable construction solutions to its clients.
Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on construction projects.Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards.Organize and lead safety training programs for employees and contractors.Perform risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate potential hazards.Monitor and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.Maintain safety records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS safety standards.Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to address safety concerns and implement solutions.Provide ongoing support and guidance to maintain a safe working environment for all workers.Requirements: Master's degree or official studies in Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) or a related field.Relevant certifications in safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, or related fields.Proven experience in occupational health and safety roles, preferably in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS.Proficiency in English (written and spoken).Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead safety programs effectively.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks efficiently.Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and maintain safety standards across multiple projects.We offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic, challenging environment with an international perspective, where you can develop your skills within a US-based company expanding into Europe.
