About the role
What you need to know: Underwrite assigned risks: Cyber and PI Tech, focused on technological risks.
He/she will work in the product 'CyberEdge' and eventually can be involved with other products within Financial Lines.
Responsibilities include:
Complying with the terms of personal underwriting authority.Exercising judgment, negotiating, and making sound business decisions effectively based on level of authority.Developing relationships with brokers.Identifying cross-selling opportunities with different Lines of Business.Driving the sales process on new products.Assisting Front Desk Unit/Customer Service Group.Maintaining a list of targets and generating submissions to meet NB targets.Knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices, procedures, and techniques.Reviewing, evaluating, and recommending modifications to underwriting guidelines.Supporting the SME strategy implementation.Working closely with the SME manager to drive cyber facilities. What we're looking for:
Relevant experience in Commercial insurance or IT and/or Data Protection consulting preferred.
Engineering, Information Technologies (IT), Business Administration, or Economics university degree preferred.
Knowledge of international security standards and risk analysis methodologies.
Fluent English skills (written & spoken).
Outgoing and entrepreneurial personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiating, communication, and presentation skills.
