What are we looking for? We are looking for a Branch Manager for our Barcelona office! The person in this position will play a key role in the growth of the market position of CtrlChain's Spanish Branch. The person in this role has a solid background in business development and brings a strong network for rapid growth of our Spanish Branch. This person will also be responsible for managing the team in their day-to-day work and maintaining a very high level of customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities of the role: Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of our Spanish branch, including sales, transportation planning, scheduling, and execution. This includes ensuring smooth and efficient sales and operational transportation activities, meeting customer expectations and delivery deadlines.Manage and provide leadership to a diverse team of carrier managers and key account managers. This involves mentoring and empowering team members, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting professional growth.Bring in new logos and revenue streams from your well-known network and contribute to an accelerated growth of our Spanish Branch.Grow business opportunities by active participation in acquisition and customer meetings, coaching team members, and ensuring continuous development of the commercial and operational team.Proactively establish and maintain positive relationships with carriers and other stakeholders and manage solid margin results for the Spanish Branch with the team.Ensure strict adherence to transportation regulations and company policies. Regularly review and update transportation procedures to maintain compliance and minimize risks.
