Location: Hong Kong/ Singapore (Remote in either location is possible) Position: Risk Director - Global Exchange - Trading / Control - Cantonese or Mandarin speaking TRB Executive Search Limited is currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Risk Director to join a leading global exchange in their trading and control division. This is a full-time, permanent position based in either Hong Kong or Singapore. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies for the trading and control division of the global exchange - Monitor and analyze market trends and developments to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation - Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management initiatives and drive continuous improvement - Provide guidance and training to team members on risk management best practices - Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and developments to ensure the exchange is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations - Prepare regular risk reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders - Lead crisis management and business continuity planning efforts for the trading and control division - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, clients, and internal teams - Stay informed about emerging risks and proactively identify potential threats to the exchange's operations Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field - Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management within the financial services industry, preferably within a global exchange or trading environment - Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices, as well as regulatory requirements - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams - Proven experience in crisis management and business continuity planning - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Willingness to travel as needed to different locations within Asia - Fluency in English is required, proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus If you are a results-driven and strategic thinker with a strong background in risk management and a passion for the financial services industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
