Rigger | Barcelona
Working on both Spanish and English speaking sites | Full Time | €14 - €22 per hour depending on experience

This is an extremely manual role, which demands not just strength, but finesse and a keen eye for detail. You will be a key part of the Mechanical Team; each day will be different and you will be able to adapt accordingly.
Experience with rigging and lifting equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
A proven record in Mechanical Fitting covering maintenance/assembly & work on pumps, motors, cranes and winches and various equipment bearings, gearboxes, generators, pumps and other mechanical equipment
Knowledgeable about food chain block lifting systems and skilled in utilizing lifting strops effectively
Capable of creating and adhering to detailed lifting plans, ensuring safety and efficiency
Experienced in undertaking maintenance tasks such as replacing mechanical motors and other components
Additional fitting and mechanical skills are highly valued and may lead to a higher salary
Must be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks, including lifting, moving, and handling of equipment and supplies as required for the role
Proficient in operating cranes, with hands-on experience in lifting and handling heavy loads. Knowledge of load testing and compliance checks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and on a team
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with design and planning in a technical field
Experience in the marine industry is a plus
Certification in relevant technical fields such as rigging, lifting, or engineering is preferred
What will your role look like?
The lifting and moving of heavy objects, working at height and operation of manual lifting machinery. Lifting and moving is essential in assisting the Mechanical Team and using chain blocks shackles cherry pickers etc.
