Responsable MerchandisingRoles & Responsibilities:Comercial: Constant supervision of the correct assortment and presentation of products in the stores.Attention to various suppliers in search of innovation in the product assortment, latest trends, and offers that can be adjusted to sales needs.Proposal and supervision of new product lines that may be beneficial.Control of selling prices to maximize overall business profitability, either through conversion increase or margin.Proposal and implementation of offers and promotions throughout the season to increase revenue, improve average ticket, and ensure proper product rotation.
In conjunction with the Marketing team, agree on these offers and promotions to maximize their visibility both inside and outside the park.Periodic review of sales by item, family, and licenses to detect possible areas for improvement via price or product rotation, as well as products with low rotation.Supervision of the cleanliness of sales points, displays, and windows to make them as attractive as possible for customers.Control of the proper implementation of licenses that the Park works with according to their standards.Control of Stock: Preparation, supervision, and development of department inventories.Development of an annual inventory planning.Supervision of warehouses to detect possible incidents and areas for improvement in operations, security, and cleanliness.Monitoring of the entire stock of items to detect items with low rotation or high stock volume that may be susceptible to price improvement or offers.Advance planning of orders to suppliers for products that require it due to their volume or other particularities.Human Resources:Development, implementation, and supervision of various operations necessary for the proper functioning of the department.Preparation of the annual personnel budget according to the needs of each sales point and in line with the department's budget.Selection of personnel in collaboration with the park's human resources department.Supervision of the tasks of the rest of the team under the department head.Implementation and supervision of the best public service techniques to improve visitor experience and sales.Supervision of the team's work climate to promote teamwork and task development in a suitable work environment.Subcontractors:Monitoring of the income from each subcontractor against its budget, analyzing individually with each one incidents and improvement points.General:Weekly preparation of income and per capita reports by sales point, analyzing results compared to the budget and previous year's data.Attend Committee meetings and any other requirements from the General Director.Act as Duty Manager of the Park when appropriate, with corresponding general supervision tasks.
