As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales, marketing, and business development teams to achieve our ambitious goals. Responsibilities: Commercial Strategy : Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with Quantum Hydrogen's mission and vision, with a focus on market penetration, revenue generation, and profitability. Market Analysis : Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and mitigate risks. Business Development : Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to expand our presence and market reach. Sales Leadership : Lead the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing customer relationships. Marketing and Branding : Develop and oversee marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive demand for our green hydrogen products and services. Customer Engagement : Build strong and lasting relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored solutions. Financial Management : Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the commercial department. Ensure cost-effective operations and resource allocation. Team Development : Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the commercial team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to the green hydrogen industry. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of at least 10 years in senior commercial roles within the Chemistry or Hydrogen sector, having performed with methanol, ammonia and/or hydrogen products. Logistics-oriented background in the sector (eg. Bunkering) Experience working, negotiating and generating business opportunities in Central Europe culture. Having worked for a German firm is preferred. Strong network and relationships within the industry. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions. Commitment to sustainability and a passion for driving the green energy transition.
