The assignment will be estimated for a period of 12 to 18 months in China (possible locations: Canton/Beijing), and mobilization will be necessary.Responsibilities and Roles:Coordinate the Engineering Partner in the execution of its works, verifying that the Engineering Partner has correctly interpreted the scope of the work based on the Project specifications, quality requirements, and the agreed execution schedule.Ensure that the Engineering Partner has the Project specifications and other requirements and contract documents at their latest revision.Transmit to the Engineering Partner the Project procedures and instructions to be complied with, verifying their implementation.Oversee that the Engineering Partner applies the applicable HSE criteria in the designs.Supervise compliance with the issuance of documents as required by the schedule, avoiding delays.Provide the Engineering Partner with any missing data that would prevent progress with their work.Attend Design Review, 3D Model review, Hazops, SIL, etc., within the scope of the Engineering Partner.Ensure that the flow of information with the Engineering Partner is correct, orderly, according to schedule, and with the required quality.Analyze the progress reported by the Engineering Partner.Review the Monthly Progress Reports issued by the Engineering Partner before their official issuance and, in the event of delays, require the corresponding corrective actions, verifying their effectiveness.Check the present and future staffing needs in the Engineering Partner's office and require the increase of staff in departments that require it for the fulfillment of the schedule.We seek a Project Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience within our field.A good level of Chinese will be an essential requirement, and availability to live in China for the required period is necessary. Please abstain if you do not meet these two requirements. Professional Spanish or English will also be required.The assignment will be estimated for a period of 12 to 18 months.Location: Canton/Beijing, China.We offer a local contract in China with a high probability of continuity in Madrid.Competitive salary conditions + living allowance, housing, expenses, and flights provided by the company.
