NoOffer Description:Grant/funding reference: ED431F 2023/30Job title: Grants for the consolidation and structuring of competitive research units and other promotion actions in SUG universities, Galician public research organizations and other I+D+I for 2023Research line / Scientific-technical services: Modality C: Research Staff with Excellent Track Record.TASKS TO BE PERFORMEDA Research Support assistant is required to assist and collaborate in the following tasks to be carried out during the 5 months of the contract:Isolate and characterise extracellular vesicles.Isolate RNA, DNA and proteins.In vitro culture of human cell lines and primary cultures.Test cell viability and proliferation of cell lines and primary cultures.Establish cellular senescence in in vitro models.Develop an in vitro model of inflammation.Development of an in vitro model of senescence.All of these tasks are estimated to be performed within the 5 months of the duration of the proposed contract.Timeframe of the contract: The framework of the grant is encompassed in a contract period of 1 year.Performance of all the tasks described above; therefore, the candidate must have experience in the following techniques:Cell biology techniques and molecular biology techniques.Extracellular vesicle isolation techniques.Techniques for in vitro functional treatments with extracellular vesicles.Development of cytotoxicity, viability, and cell proliferation assays.Generation of lentiviral particles for genetic modification.Cultivation and induction of iPSCs.Additional InformationEligibility criteria Criteria and evaluation of merits:COU, High School, FPII or CFGS.
