Research And Development Manager

Job Responsibilities: Lead the development of new food products from concept to commercialization.Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop products that meet consumer needs, market trends, and company objectives.Formulate and test new recipes, ensuring they meet sensory, nutritional, and shelf-life requirements.Identify opportunities for innovation in product lines and processes.Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.Explore new ingredients, technologies, and processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.Manage multiple R&D projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress.Communicate project status, challenges, and results to stakeholders.Ensure all new and existing products comply with food safety regulations and industry standards.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop and implement quality control measures.Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure products are compliant with all relevant laws.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of food scientists, technologists, and other R&D staff.Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the R&D team.Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and provide training and development opportunities.Work with procurement and production teams to source cost-effective ingredients and materials.Develop cost-reduction strategies without compromising product quality.Provide technical expertise and support to production, marketing, and sales teams.Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Paid trainingSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:13th month salaryEducation:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:Research and Development Manager: 3 years (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
