As a Research Analyst, you will become an integral part of a project team tasked with advising on the competitive impact of a merger or conduct. You will have a critical role in researching, analysing and interpreting the way that competition works in your client's industry. Your analysis will form the fundamental basis of expert advice that will be given to clients, competition authorities and/or courts. You will work closely with your team to understand the issues that face the client, relating those issues to relevant economic theory, and supporting the analysis with solid and persuasive empirical evidence.Research Analysts join us after completing their undergraduate degree in a quantitative subject. This would preferably be in economics, but we also welcome applications from graduates with degrees in computer science, mathematics or statistics.This is a one- or two-year fixed-term position, ideal for candidates who are interested in post-graduate studies in economics but would like to gain work experience and a better understanding of economic consulting before returning to university.Applications for this position will close on 31 March 2025.Please note that there will be two interview periods for this position: one in December 2024 and one in April 2025, following the application deadline.
