The Global Digital User Research (GDUR) team at adidas is responsible for informing cross-functional stakeholders to develop high quality product solutions and user experiences.
Our focus is exploring and identifying our users' intents and the related needs, expectations and desires.
These efforts culminate in valid, reliable, and objective insights for our teams.
Our output is confidence—confidence in the decision to be made and certainty in the actions to be taken.
Key responsibilities: Executing small to medium-scale quantitative research projects, with a focus on surveys and experimental research, including research design, data collection and analysis.
Supporting larger-scale quantitative research projects.
Assisting in desk research and internal data exploration.
Occasionally conducting usability testing or qualitative research (as part of mixed methods projects).
Collaborating with stakeholders: UX designers, Product Owners, and UX writers to gather insights, build consensus around user needs and deliver solutions.
Communicating research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and verbal presentations.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR You're a good fit for the role if: You have at least 1 year of experience as a quantitative or mixed-methods researcher or have a research-focused University degree in social or behavioral science (or equivalent).
You have an awareness of the merits and weaknesses of different research approaches.
You have experience designing quantitative research (e.g., sampling strategies, survey writing).
You have basic knowledge of statistics and are able to analyze survey data (e.g., significance testing of mean differences, regression analysis).
You are familiar with at least one program or language for social science data analysis (e.g., SPSS, R, Python).
You have a can-do attitude and a growth mindset, and are keen to learn ways to become an impactful user researcher in an organization.
You're a strong communicator and facilitator.
You're able to tell a story so your audience will want to listen to and zoom into details to bring insights to life.
You value collaboration and are at your best when you are part of a team.
Bonus points for: Understanding additional languages.
Basic knowledge of qualitative research.
