.Finance > Regional MED > R&C; SEU West The team is primarily responsible for providing end-to-end both Vestas GAAP and Local GAAP Financials for the Entities in Iberia and France.
This refers to the end-to-end processes of Accounting, Taxes, and Treasury.
Proactively works with Regional and Group Finance, mainly Tax and Treasury and other SSC functional areas to ensure issues and concerns are addressed positively and in accordance with prescribed deadlines and processes.
Responsibilities Position will be part of a team and reports to the Senior Finance Director.
Hands on the month-end close to ensure timely and accurate report of financial statements to headquarters.
Responsible for recurrent GL postings and FCC allocations.
Support in completing BPC reports and GL reconciliation Vestas and local GAAP.
Follow-up on finance department cost centers and support on budget and forecast and treasury.
Support SSC in clearing of Bank reconciliation.
Close relationship with banks and make cash flow reports.
Support on budgets and forecasts, accounts payable and receivables.
Review and follow-up of payment proposals and manual payments for Vestas companies.
Follow-up key supplier accounts and reconciliation.
PR/PO/GR for department suppliers.
Follow up on invoices incidents (parked and blocked).
Review of suppliers withholding tax.
Follow-up on customer accounts status.
Follow-up on the VAT and other tax declarations, including custom clearance.
Prepares accurate tax drafts so light revision is needed.
Coordinate and manage Tax inspections in all the countries.
Develop external and internal Audits and Statutory Accounts.
Qualifications Master's degree within business administration or equivalent.
Knowledge of finance, audit, budgeting, accounting, and law in business.
Knowledge in tax & compliance.
Knowledge of information System SAP/BI.
5 years' professional experience in a similar position.
Competencies Good communication, cooperation, and organizational skills.
Management skills to coordinate the team both in Spain and France.
Curiosity to understand complexities of markets within the region.
Systematic and result-oriented including analytical skills.
