FUNCTIONSSkills: Electric Engineering, Mergers & Acquisitions, Renewables, Infrastructure Development, Power SectorRegulations, Project Management, Generation Infrastructure Construction.Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled PROJECT DEVELOPER to identify and help capture and develop/build wind,solar, storage and other renewables development opportunities in the markets where the company operates.The incumbent will also be tasked with engineering assessments, electric market analysis, economicevaluations, connectivity studies performed in-house or through third party contractors in order to determinetechnical and economic viability of early-stage development opportunities in Latin America, US market orEurope.The ideal candidate will hold a BSc. In Electrical Engineering or related field and be a student in a Master ´sor PhD degree program in the areas of Project Management, Business Administration, EnvironmentalEngineering and/or Economics.Previous experience in project development, development permitting,engineering and construction of electric generation infrastructure will be highly desirable. Special value willbe given to candidates that have prior engineering experience or project development experience in marketsrelevant to the company. You will work directly under the head of development and engineering, and countryheads and will act as a project developer based on directions and decisions made by company leadershipimpacting directly the current and future operations of the company. Given excellent performance you willbe offered a full-time job upon graduation and possibility of participating in company equity structure in a 2– 3 year timeframe after that.Responsibilities:•Directly perform and/or coordinate through third party specialized consultants concept engineering, FEEDstudies, detailed engineering, critical equipment evaluations, environmental studies, connectivity studies andmarket assessments and projections studies that will be used as basis for decisions to invest or divest, etc...• Perform a wide set of economic evaluations and sensitivities that can be used as basis for decision makingregarding further investment or to evaluate alternative courses of action in specific projects or investmentopportunities.• Ability to set up and/or work with economic and cash flow models and portfoliomodels simulating different business conditions and their impact over companyobjectivesEssential Skills:•BSc or master's degree in electrical engineering, Project Management, Environmental Engineering, BusinessManagement, Economics, or related field.Undergraduate degree in Electric Engineering or related field.10 years prior working experience in an electricity generation infrastructure engineering company,Transmission Infrastructure, Project Development, Engineering Consulting, Environmental Studies, and otherrelated fields.Proficient user of Office Tools and project planningExceptional time management skills and ability to work independently.Excellent verbal and written communication (English is essential, Portuguese, Spanish other EU languageshighly desirable).Strong industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.Experience working in similar or related roles highly desirable (engineering, construction, economic &portfolio evaluations, M&A, environmental studies, electricity markets, etc...)
