Drives increase in value of product pipeline across assigned markets of International Region by identifying and selecting high-value strategic assets, ensuring high-quality evaluation, timely allocation to execution and progression of selected pipeline assets through all execution phases from selection to launch.
Leads teams in strategy efforts, lifecycle management planning, and assessments of probability-of-success.
Provides product portfolio analyses and reports to management committees for support of decision-making.
Develops in-depth and consistent evaluation methodology across regional and country Portfolio teams – ensuring key value drivers are identified and aligned to market specifics, assumptions are data-driven, aligned with relevant stakeholders and well-documented, resulting in durable portfolio strategy.
Drives initiatives across Platforms, Development and other relevant units to create fully integrated pipeline strategies.
Leads and influences partners in the countries and project teams without direct reporting relationship. Collaborates with other senior level to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Monitor and facilitate progress of pipeline projects execution, course-correct and provide transparent and regular status updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects and pipeline value maximization.
Close alignment with relevant country, Regional and Global functions, including but not limited to Global Platforms, IP, BD, Regulatory, Project Management, Launch Management, Commercial, and other functions to ensure their continued support in Regional Portfolio strategy execution.
Key performance indicators: Increase in the pipeline value in the calendar year – measured separately for short, mid and long term, products launching within the next 1-3 years, in the next 3-5 years, in the next 5-10 years, respectively, measured in L+5 Net SalesValue of planned launches in the next 1, 2 and 3 years – sales in the launch yearShare of first-to-market products in the pipelineWhat you'll bring to the role: Minimum 5 years' experience in management consulting, pharmaceutical portfolio, or project management.Proven experience in leading and building high performing teams.Strong financial modelling and valuations skills and in-depth understanding of main financial valuation methods.Excellent analytical skillsFinancial literacy, ability to interpret and draw insights from financial statements and KPIsKnowledge of Gx / pharma industryProven track record of leading high-preforming diverse project teamsProven ability to work effectively in complex matrix organizationsExcellent communication, presentation and influencing skillsStrong hands-on approach combined with business acumen and strategic thinking.Fluent English is mandatory, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese or Russian and other languages will be valuable.Why Sandoz?
