INSPECTOR I Job Purpose The Inspector I performs basic inspection work in petroleum and petrochemical terminals and refineries; also performs inspection work on board barges and ships following industry standards and the procedures published by API and Saybolt.
General Responsibilities Assist other inspectors from the department and Account Managers in his responsibility duties of the location.
Responsible for the efficient work within the location, to meet client needs accurately and in time.
May work at different locations and on offshore operations as requested by the company.
Functions mainly include port activity and sometimes offshore on high seas.
Ensure running the operation at the lowest possible costs while meeting safety, quality of service, and maintenance of assets.
Ensure full cooperation with his department and Managers on all assignments.
Follow all company procedures established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories.
Keep updated and aware of all updates and act accordingly.
Reports directly to Inspection Account Managers.
