The Inspector I performs basic inspectionwork in petroleum and petrochemical terminals and refineries; also performsinspection work on board barges and ships following industry standards and theprocedures published by API and Saybolt.General ResponsibilitiesInspector I shall assist other inspectorsfrom the department and Account Managers in his responsibility duties of thelocation.Inspectors I, are responsible for the efficient work within the location, sothat he can meet client needs accurately and in time.Inspectors I, may work at different locations and on offshore operations asrequested by the company.The functions to be developed by the Inspectors, are mainly included within theport activity and sometimes offshore on high seas, so that the development andfulfillment of the functions of the description of each Job, including thespecific service of standby, constitute a function of the job and are carriedout within the ordinary working day, as long as they are carried out aseffective working time.Is responsible for and takes care of running the operation at the lowestpossible costs, while meeting the requirements for safety, quality of serviceand maintenance of assets. Inspector I must ensure full cooperation with hisdepartment and his Managers on all assignments. Must follow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and CoreLaboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies& Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures,Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc. Must keep himself updatedand aware of all updates and act accordingly.Inspectors I, reports directly toInspection Account Managers.The physical demands described here arerepresentative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully performthe essential functions of this job.
