DescripciónWe are seeking applications for a PhD student to join the Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis Group, led by Dr. Hector Peinado, at the Spanish National Cancer Center (CNIO) in Madrid, Spain.Our laboratory focuses on studying tumor-secreted factors involved in the interaction between tumors and their microenvironment during metastasis.We employ a multidisciplinary approach that integrates biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, mass spectrometry, clinical/translational research, and preclinical models.Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, we are seeking PhD students to investigate how tumor-derived extracellular vesicles contribute to DNA damage responses within the primary tumor niche, examining both the intrinsic mechanisms involved and the extrinsic consequences.Criterios de evaluaciónMaster's Degree in Biomedical Sciences.GPA above 9 / 10 will be considered an advantage.A minimum of 2 years of research experience.Proficiency in Molecular Biology techniques, such as PCR, and DNA / miRNA analysis.Experience in immune cell analysis, flow cytometry, extracellular vesicles, and nanoparticles.Competence in working with cell cultures.Scientific mobility will be viewed favorably.Attendance at scientific seminars and participation in scientific training will be positively considered.Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.Se ofreceThe opportunity to be part of a Cancer Research Centre of excellence.Competitive salary.An energetic working environment.Contract linked to a project.#J-18808-Ljbffr
