Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the R&D team to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (tabular and imaging data), primarily using Python.Maintain and improve our Data Warehouse, ensuring it is up-to-date with processed data.Execute data pipelines (ETLs) to efficiently select, process, and store incoming data.Coordinate radiologists involved in the data tagging process.Lead data analysis and reporting efforts to support R&D and decision-making.Optimize data infrastructure for enhanced performance and scalability.Perform real-time monitoring of data statistics to quickly detect and address issues.Contribute to best practices and data documentation to ensure smooth operations.Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.2+ years of experience working with data pipelines and data analysis using Python.Proficiency in Python.Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work independently (important in a start-up environment).Keen interest in medical data and its clinical applications.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude.Eagerness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Experience with imaging data: Particularly DICOM format.Understanding of basic statistical concepts, such as confidence intervals, AUC-ROC, sensitivity, specificity, and hypothesis testing.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and optimizing data infrastructure for enhanced performance and scalability.What can we offerAn opportunity to shape the data strategy of an award-winning Digital Health Start-Up.Be part of a solid experienced team, passionate about their work and capable to bring cutting-edge technology to market.Chance to grow alongside extraordinary individuals at the company growth pace.Combine remote work with working together in our great offices in front of the Port Vell, at Pier01 Barcelona Tech City.Competitive compensation package.
