Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Working on multi-modal modelling, public transport and highway modelling projects.Project and task involvement or management on modelling projects to include model development, calibration, validation, demand forecasting and economic appraisal.Checking outputs for compliance with quality requirements and industry best practice and motivating others to do so as well.Organising, training and mentoring other modelling resources in order to ensure project delivery and staff/team development.Providing key inputs to the development of business cases and scheme assessments.Liaising with clients and other project stakeholders.Undertaking business development activities including proposal writing and preparation.As a member of our Transport Modelling Team in Madrid, you will be supported by experienced colleagues to deliver against applicable Industry guidelines and standards.

The successful Senior Transport Modeller will be committed to providing high quality, affordable and innovative solutions and advice to clients and have good report writing, project management, supervisory, communication and technical ability.
In order to carry out the responsibilities, you will require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following disciplines:
Transport Planning/EngineeringCivil EngineeringYou will have extensive experience of modelling software such as VISSIM, PARAMICS, AIMSUN.
Survey data analysis skills alongside an understanding of variable demand modelling and forecasting (following TAG guidance) are also key skillsets necessary for the role.
The following would also be desirable:
Expertise in Geographic Information System (GIS), MAPINFO or ARCKnowledge of modelling software such as SATURN, VISUM, EMME or CUBEKnowledge of Python, C# and SQLA good understanding of the wider transport planning/engineering environment.**Job Profile**
