As part of the Enterprise Strategy Team, the individual will be engaged in cross-functional, enterprise-wide Strategic Projects and Transformational Programs, taking on management responsibilities. Specifically, the role will include all phases of Project Management from Planning, Execution, and Delivery.
Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the evolving external context and derive implications for CRH strategy and execution.Understand CRH strategy execution progress and results and derive implications for CRH strategic direction and projects.Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives.Develop and execute strategic initiatives.Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure alignment and efficient execution of strategic projects.Monitor and report on project progress, identify risks and issues, and provide recommendations to mitigate them.Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Manage strategic projects assessing various elements of our portfolio and/or segments of the construction value chain.Represent the company in external meetings, conferences, and industry events.Share best-practice and coordinate strategy building activities for regional clusters and lines of business.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the project management team and across the organization.Individual CompetenciesVery strong strategic thinking and ability to understand long-term implications of decisions.Very strong financial acumen and solid analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Previous experience in managing teams and senior stakeholders.Experience / EducationA bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.15+ years of work experience with a master's degree.Strategic consulting experience in a top-tier consulting company.Experience leading strategic projects within a complex organization.What CRH Offers YouA culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion.Highly competitive salary package.Comprehensive secondary benefits.
