.We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our multidisciplinary science and engineering start-up. QMENTA has developed an advanced solution for medical imaging data aggregation, standardization, and advanced quantitative AI processing. The system is used in Research, Clinical Trials (Pharma & Biotech), and Clinical Care (Patient Treatment) worldwide. We are a fast-growing startup. In the last 6 years, we have expanded our business globally and served hospitals, research centers, and pharmaceutical companies in the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Our mission is to organize and quantify imaging information through complex imaging tools in a seamless manner in order to accelerate the discovery and development of cures for brain diseases. Your main responsibilities will be: Develop and monitor annual Budget for review by the CEO / President. Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary. Proactively track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement. Provide regular financial updates/reports to the CEO and President. Provide insightful financial information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports. Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings. Review legal documents such as NDAs, contracts, agreements, and other business/administrative documents. Prepare all the relevant financial information for Due Diligence requests. Review and approve purchase requests. Coordinate external tax consultants and ensure compliance with all tax and social security regulations. Assist in adjusting the Business Plan and financial forecast of the company. You will also support the team: Research and analyze financial reports and market trends. Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company. Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation. Assist the Sales & Marketing department with the coordination of the CRM, key account management, and proposal preparation. Define internal administrative policies. Negotiate with banks. Required skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. FP&A, investment banking, business administration, or management consulting experience is a plus. Strong Excel skills. Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of business process and systems optimization. Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas. Strong knowledge of financial reporting. Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions
