Reporting to the manager of the divisional department Industrial Engineering, the industrial engineer (M/F/d) is a key player for the implementation of Sinova's Industrial Strategy by initiating and designing CAPEX projects and enhancing the factory network. She/He works closely with the colleagues in the factories to analyze and understand key challenges, gather, and share knowledge but also to define Best Practices for the division which will be applied within CAPEX projects. She/He will interact internally with most of Sinova services (Operations, Commercial, Innovation and Quality, Health and Safety, Logistics, Sustainability, Tech and process engineering, Transformation) and externally she/he will have occasional contacts with suppliers, local authorities and customers. High availability and interest for travelling is required as business trips may represent up to 50% of the working time.Core ResponsibilitiesProject WorkUnderstand & consolidate all stakeholders needs on a project.Run industrial project diagnosis: analyzing and challenging the current situation with the project team. Mapping and visualizing them.Secure that the project needs can reach the expected objectives.Be the tenant that industrial evolutions are aligned with Sinova standard processes.Onboard and challenge Experts to ensure project objectives.Active participation in regular project meetings by challenging and advising implementation steps.Support the commissioning to ensure the realization of the design values (if necessary: on site).Potential Project Manager.Best PracticeVisit factories to understand the diversity of our factories.Identification of strength and potentials per factory.In-depth analysis of identified best-practices including profound documentation and visualization to enable the transferability within the factory network.Active preparation and participation in workshops with factory managers.Animator for knowledge networks.Who Will Succeed With Us in This Function?EducationMaster's degree in Industrial engineering or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Biochemical, Automation, Food processing, Environmental etc.).A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or industrial operational topics.Hard SkillsAnalytical and problem-solving mindset (ideally Lean methods).Basic economical understanding.Project management knowledge.Understanding Process flow diagram / Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID; ) / machine layouts.MS365 skills (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).A fluent level of English is mandatory, other language(s) (especially Polish, Romanian or Spanish) will be appreciated.Soft SkillsCommunicative, likes to work with different people and in an international environment.Curious and open mindset.Ability to actively listen to people.Sense of priority.Structured / organized working method.Agility and ability to organize work in a fast-moving environment.Resilience.Fact based analysis.Capacity of 'taking a step back'.
