The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a non-profit research institute based in Barcelona dedicated to advancing the understanding of leukemia and related disorders, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The IJC has laboratories in 5 clinical campuses: i) Hospital Clínic, ii) Hospital de Sant Pau, iii) Hospital Germans Trias Pujol, iv) Hospital del Mar, and v) Hospital Josep Trueta Girona.

The evolution and prognosis of each histological subtype of neoplasia is very diverse, and it is necessary to deepen the knowledge of each of them.
In this sense, population cancer records are a reference tool for establishing the incidence and survival of each type.ResponsibilitiesTo design and perform statistical analyses (incidence, survival, and mortality rates and trends) to advance the project, using R or Stata.To review the etiology and risk factors of the different histological subtypes of hematologic neoplasms.To analyze the data and propose hypotheses that could support the results obtained.To process the data and prepare graphs and figures.To present and discuss the results in group meetings and conferences.For further information, please visit our webpage: carrerasresearch.org and the Josep Carreras nonprofit organization: fcarreras.org.
