Position: Water Infrastructure Manager (WIM)
Location: Madrid or Zaragoza
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Civil Engineering/Economics/Business10+ years' work experience delivering water infrastructure and engineering solutions for capital-intensive projects across diversified industriesExperience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specificationsStrong analytical and commercial skill set to review utility tariffs, water projects, and contractsProficiency with MS Office and Project Management MethodologiesKey Responsibilities: Drive the development, implementation, and construction of new water infrastructureManage design consultants, contractual drafting, develop and document requirements, budgets, and project schedulesDeliver aggressive project deliverables while managing multiple competing prioritiesPrepare investment need/business case papers to secure internal funding for water reinforcement projectsEngage with regulators and external stakeholders (Water utilities, environmental agencies, health department, construction contractors, etc.)Ensure compliance with construction standards and national regulationsSupport continuous process improvement through workflow updates and documenting lessons learnedRegularly report to senior leadership on project metrics and commitmentsCreate detailed planning packs for scalable and future-proof water infrastructureAbout the Team: Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the global leader in cloud computing, supporting all AWS data centers and ensuring continual access to innovation for our customers.
