HR BUSINESS PARTNER Multinational company leader in the industrial sector with several production plants, requires a HR Business Partner in the Spanish market for its headquarters in the metropolitan area of Barcelona.
JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborates with leaders & employees to determine and deliver impactful HR solutions to address business challenges.
The role focuses on tactical and delivery aspects of programs, policies & processes across all people areas such as performance management, succession planning, career development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and organization change interventions.Supports in the full employee life cycle.Provides support and guidance to managers and employees on a broad range of human resource policies, programs, and practices including professional and personnel relations, employee compensation and benefits, employee engagement, organizational design and change, communications, career development, recruitment, and selection.Executes and tracks progress of identified project assignments effectively and prioritizes based on business criticality.
Identifies improvement opportunities, provides justification, and translates these into actions.Participates in annual talent review cycle including organization strategy, performance management processes, succession planning, learning & development, and employee training.Coaches senior leadership on the requirements to operate within the existing policies, agreements, and procedures, with sensitivity to the local/regional specifics, such as collective labour agreement.Supports the maintenance of constructive relationships with different stakeholders, contributing to ensuring a positive employee relations climate.Responsible for the onboarding of new employees.Ensures all HR admin processes with regards to onboarding, offboarding, and changes are documented and processed in payroll.Organizes and maintains personnel records.Implements and communicates HR policies and/or HR processes.Active participation in HR projects.MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or similar.5-8 years' HR experience operating in a similar HR role with manufacturing HR experience for at least 3 years.Fluent in Spanish & English.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).PERSONAL SKILLSSelf-starter personality, autonomous.Ability to influence across all levels of the organization.Excellent time and project management, must have a sense of urgency, able to prioritize including the ability to manage competing priorities.Excellent analytical capabilities & conceptual thinking.Negotiation and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to build networks of contacts externally and internally.Strong result-orientation.
