The Property Procurement Manager role has been developed to support the Head Of Procurement (Property) to manage the roll out and development of all fixtures and fittings associated with JD stores and other group brands globally. Liaising between key stakeholders throughout the group including QS, Construction, Retail, Design and in-country teams, the Property Procurement Manager will drive and clearly communicate development timescales, ensure quality of information is received to brief out external procurement partners, and ultimately drive the completion of store projects from an F&F perspective. · Job Title – Property Procurement Manager · Location – JD Group, Hollins Brook Way, Pilsworth, Bury, BL9 8RR. · Working hours – Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. What You'll Be Doing: Reporting to the Head of Procurement (Property) the Property Procurement Manager (International) will support all international and franchise markets Responsible for identifying cost efficiency through local partnerships and maximising group buying power Reducing project capex spend through optimising procurement methods Supporting the reduction in freight costs Working alongside the JD design team and external design agencies to ensure value engineered solutions are considered at an early stage in the development process Ensuring all projects are delivered in the most cost-effective manner Building strong relationships between head office functions and the supplier base / external procurement partners Supporting the global team through critical path engagement, ensuring delivery timelines and requirements are met whilst supporting the on-boarding of new business where required Working with Retail Projects Teams to ensure the F&F call off (RPS) savings, identify risk and reduce additional costs Managing and supporting the relevant external procurement partner, ensuring clear lines of communication at all times Ensuring the QS team have all relevant costs as required and supporting all value engineering initiatives Supporting the overall Procurement Strategy Facilitating and managing internal multi-disciplinary stakeholder meetings as required What We're Looking For: Previous International Project Management experience is essential, ideally within a fast-paced retail sector Clear understanding of the principles of project and procurement management Be able to hold contract discussions with external suppliers Ability to read and understand store layouts, GA's, elevations and design intent Understanding of retail fixtures and fittings Awareness of international freight / duty for both inbound and outound shipments Have the ability to influence multiple stakeholders across the group at all levels Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly effective Planning skills – critical path management is a must Numerate and strong attention to detail Experience of working on multiple projects at the same time and across multiple territories Ability to adjust to real time situations and adapt accordingly Procurement related qualification would be advantageous but not essential Prince 2 or equivalent qualification would be advantageous but not essential Self-motivated and driven but can work as part of a team Proficient IT skills including Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Role is field based with travel throughout the UK and International markets as required Full clean driving licence essential The Company: The JD Group is a leading omnichannel retailer of Sports Fashion, Street & Premium Fashion, Outdoors and Gyms with over 60,000 colleagues over 3,400 stores across several retail fascia's in over 30 markets around the world.
