What You'll Do: As the Project Manager in the Global Sales Compensation team, you will be responsible for driving strategic projects that enhance compensation processes and support operational excellence.
Your scope will involve leading cross-functional initiatives from initial scoping to successful delivery.
Key responsibilities include: Project Scoping and Analysis: Conduct qualitative (interviews, workshops, root cause analysis) and quantitative (data modelling, performance metrics) assessments to outline project goals Strategic Recommendations and Implementation Planning: Develop comprehensive project proposals, detailing milestones, objectives, and timelines that align with compensation and sales goals Day-to-Day Project Management: Oversee the project's progress, ensuring alignment with the plan and adjusting as necessary for success Stakeholder Collaboration: Build trusted relationships and facilitate communication among key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and team synergy Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks, and proactively address any issues that may impact project outcomes Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates and comprehensive reporting to project sponsors and leadership to maintain transparency and accountability Methodology and Process Enhancement: Contribute to the refinement of project management tools, processes, and best practices to improve team efficiency Who You Are: Ideal Skills/Experience: Experience in sales operations and compensation structures A strong advocate for transformation within the organization Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment Proven experience in leading complex cross-functional or operational projects General Skills: Communication: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate project scope, progress, and changes both verbally and in writing Active Listening: Strong listening skills to incorporate feedback from stakeholders, ensuring their needs and concerns are integrated into project planning Strategic Thinking: Capable of seeing the broader impact of projects, anticipating potential challenges, and incorporating this insight into planning Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies, including scheduling, risk assessment, and change management Measurement and Analysis: Ability to evaluate project outcomes through performance metrics and apply findings to future projects Interpersonal & Influencing Skills: Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders to drive project success Problem Solving: Adept at navigating complex, high-stakes scenarios with practical, outcome-focused solutions Preferred Background: 3–4+ years in management/strategy/financial/M&A consulting or equivalent experience Hands-on experience with cross-functional project management in dynamic, fast-paced environments Experience in sales operations, compensation planning, or financial modelling is highly desirable We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above.
