The Port of Barcelona's Muelle Sur Container Terminal is 100% owned by APM Terminals and has an annual throughput capacity of 1,560,000 TEU. APM Terminals is committed to major investments in further upgrading terminal infrastructure and container handling equipment over the coming years to enable the terminal to handle the largest container ships in service.
APM Terminals Project Execution has, in agreement with APM Terminals Barcelona, recently commenced the ramp-up of the corresponding, multi-year project with the main focus on the civil & electrical engineering deliverables (quay wall, land side rail beam and furniture upgrades).
