Job Description: The European programmatic Media Manager will be a key part of the transformational journey to data driven brand building with the aim to transform the way we connect with the pet parents and build relationships with them at the heart of everything we do.
This centralized role will be responsible for building superior biddable media capabilities for multiple brands, leading biddable media strategy and execution across a variety of programmatic media partners (including Google, Verizon Media, Amazon Advertising, WMG, etc.) and social media partners (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.), all with a focus on driving to conversion. The role will be responsible for defining and rolling out scalable solutions, best practices and frequent learnings to advance Mars Petcare biddable social & programmatic media efforts across key brand initiatives, including the identification and implementation of new high value audiences, dynamic creative optimization, and more.
What are we looking for?Degree qualified or equivalent digital education5 years minimum experience in programmaticStrong experience of the European Programmatic LandscapeSound knowledge of GDPR and implications for advertisersExperience working within Demand Side Platforms (such as; DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr and MediaMath)Experience working with other technologies, such as; Ad-Servers, DMPs, DCO and Web AnalyticsA genuine interest and deep understanding of programmatic, demonstrating clear results for advertisersA passion for cats and dogs would be idealFMCG experience would be preferredLanguages: Fluent English requiredWhat will be your key responsibilities?Create and optimize the PN EU programmatic strategy and define how programmatic integrates, contributes to and benefits from other media across the consumer connections planDefine where and what role programmatic plays in the pet parent journey and how the tactics differ depending on pet parent needsTranslate the global programmatic framework to drive relevancy for Europe. Working closely with regional brand teams define key programmatic opportunities for the brands and represent programmatic within the annual ICP/ IDP processBe the key point of contact to represent programmatic. Act as a key entry point on consumer data relevant working together through the Pet care D+A team, DT and the PN D+A teams Bring the demonstrable value of programmatic to the business and put in place the measurement framework and KPIs to prove that.
