Nationale Nederlanden Oxygen is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain.
Our main objective is to create, deliver and maintain insurance product management solutions, enabling any agent (linked or direct), machine, or company to create and sell insurance products in Europe in an automated way and real time.
We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group.
Position: Product Owner
We offer an indefinite contract of Product Owner in the Information Technologies area. Below is the information regarding the position:
Purpose/Mission of the Position
The purpose of the Product Owner/PM position is the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet the clients' needs and preferences. Their main duties include determining the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items, and deciding which features each product will have according to clients' preferences.
As the Product Owner of the Oxygen team, you will define and lead functionalities in the implementation of the new FADATA system for Nationale-Nederlanden Business Units, being responsible for prioritization of the backlog and representation of all main stakeholders in the development, transition, implementation, and business requirements.
Tasks
Maximize customer value within the constraints of Business Units goals and business strategy.
Represent key stakeholders in prioritization of business requirements.
Secure delivery of services to business units based on defined service levels and KPIs.
Manage planning, monitor, and modify the Product Backlog.
Cooperate with main stakeholders (Tribe Lead, Chapter Lead, or Head) in resource and budget allocation on Squad-level.
Cooperate with Chapter Leads in defining the composition of the Squad.
Manage Team and members' performance.
Manage quality control of the developed project.
Accept developed increment at the end of the sprint.
Be the single point of contact with our customers (Business Units).
Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
Define the vision for the team's product.
Create a product roadmap based on this vision.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on changing requirements.
Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development.
Develop user stories.
Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.
Liaise with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.
Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
10+ years of experience (experience in the insurance industry is desirable).
Relevant courses include Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Certified SAFe Product Owner, Prince 2, etc.
