About the Role
We are searching for a Product Owner who will develop products and services within the existing defined business model. You will be embedded in a Squad and work directly with fellow squad members to prioritize and handle what needs to be done and by when. As a servant leader with no direct line authority over squad members, you will coordinate closely with your Product Area Lead to stay aligned on business goals and to ensure your Squad is progressing and delivering against them. You will also represent the voice of the customer, whether internal or external, and make sure that Squad members understand customer needs and preferences. To get this work done,
you will maintain and prioritize the backlog of user stories that your Squad members will use to inform their work. Through your passion for the product, you aim at improving its values for the product's customer and seek potential new customers.
Your main responsibilities: Set overall vision to direct, inform and prioritize the order of work to increase value within constraints of resources, strategy, and compliance with an entrepreneurial approach.Incubate and commercialize innovative, exciting solutions, using data and validation techniques including demo, usability testing, and A/B testing to prove hypotheses.Co-create, prioritize, and communicate product roadmaps and high-level squad backlogs using iterative techniques with feedback loops.Bring transparency of the backlog and align squad members with all stakeholders.Communicate financial forecasts with business case creation identifying market segmentation and bring clarity on the value proposition.Balance & manage technical debt in line with customer value work and deliver the squad mission and objectives with shared accountability with the Product Area Lead.Ensure voice of the customer is heard and focused on by the squad.Ensure cooperation between squads and manage interdependencies, remove impediments, and create an environment for people to excel.Support the squad to deliver on budget, to clear scope, with clear guidance on timelines and clear acceptance criteria. The mission of the Digital Workplace Communication Service squad is to deliver end-to-end Digital Communication products and services in the following areas:Telephony solutions, including provisioning, routing, or SIP technologies.Microsoft 365 Real-time Collaboration and Meeting Technologies (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Miro, and Microsoft Whiteboard, Microsoft Stream, etc.).Meeting room and workplace hardware lifecycle management, support, and provisioning.Governance and Compliance aspects, including specific solutions in the area of Voice Recording compliance solutions. About you
We are happy to meet you if you possess:Qualification as CSPO / PSPO or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.Product Domain expertise in Communication Services technologies, such as Telephony, Meeting solutions (Microsoft Teams), Meeting Room technologies, Compliance Recording solutions, etc.Experience understanding customer needs, can demonstrate expertise in Risk & Data, strong business & financial savvy & strategic mentality.Strong communication skills, both written & verbal, and strong partner management skills, able to influence in a servant leadership style.Strong analytical & conceptual skills.Ability to motivate others across line management boundaries.English proficiency is a must.Readiness for close collaboration across multiple locations.Solid understanding of the Re-/Insurance industry.Dedication to Swiss Re's new way of working through greater collaboration and breaking down of silos.
