What you will doAct as the product owner for Sysdig Monitor's alerting & AIOps initiatives. You'll be driving how we improve the lives of our users who are on call - reducing alert fatigue, alerting on the right problems, and ensuring customers are maximizing availability.Deeply understand the market, competitors, customer goals and pains to build a vision for your products.Translate the vision into a roadmap, and create supporting requirement documents. Deliver your roadmap through incremental improvements and releases.Interact constantly with users - obsess about their needs and their pain points.Utilize qualitative and quantitative tracking to enable decision making and trade-offs.Be the product liaison for your products to our stakeholders and customers: gather feedback, communicate timelines, and assist in go to market activities. What you will bring with youFast and accurate decision making is fundamental for a booming market where competition and new business opportunities abound.A Product Manager needs to successfully communicate internally and externally, with many different roles and personas, adapting to their own language: customers, engineers, marketing, sales and support, etc.A strong desire to learn and an interest in our market domain.Ability to work closely with engineering teams to take projects from the initial ideation stages all the way to general availability. What we look for2+ years of experience in product management, or 5+ years in a technical customer facing role (sales / solutions engineering, TAM / customer success).Prior hands on experience or solid understanding of infrastructure monitoring - alerting, SRE, golden signals, SLA/SLOs, etc.Obsession with building, or using, customer facing products that delight and create lightbulb moments.Team player - you know great products are the result of great teams working together.Domain knowledge in cloud native technologies: Kubernetes, Prometheus, Cloud Infrastructure is preferred, but not required.
