Job Title: Product Management Principal Specialist

This position is part of the IT Excellence team of the Airline Solutions Business Unit of Amadeus, engaged in a full retailing transformation of its Portfolio.
Your Main Responsibilities: Common accountabilities: Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performs at a high level. Is recognized as a leader in own area and may formally train Specialists / Senior Specialists. Understands how main business drivers may impact on own area. Can assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions and risk mitigation plans. Able to communicate complex information. Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions. Leads projects or contributes to broad cross-functional projects. May contribute to planning of resources and budget. Specific accountabilities: Articulate & Develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements, and articulate them into new product concepts or upgrades. Define the product strategy, vision & the business value in line with the business owners and other relevant stakeholders. Analyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with Product Marketing Management. Manage 3rd party partnerships: requirement definition and prioritization, coordination of product evolution and other activities with the partner. Embark Amadeus teams on product vision, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the business. Drive co-innovation with customers to validate customer value drivers, define features of the products (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and expected business value. Define and manage product roadmap; socialize and align timelines with relevant stakeholders. Work closely with Product Marketing Management, Operations (Customer Service / Delivery / Go To Market) and R&D teams to define priorities and releasing plan for new products or upgrades. Coordinate different functional and technical streams with R&D teams to ensure end to end solution consistency. Manage the budget for area of responsibility including capacity planning with R&D. Participate in Agile events (Lean Portfolio Management, PI planning, System demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops) when applicable / required. When applicable, fulfill Product Owner role or ART PM and work with R&D teams to maximize the agile teams outcome. Ensure solutions (to be) released meet the users needs and product readiness guidelines. What would be your main mission? Lead the Epic Intent, which captures and documents fixed and variable aspects of the corresponding solution. Management of the Product Discovery findings, following customer interviews, market research, Research with customers and/or customers. Alignment between relevant Train PMs, Epic Owners and Product owners. Support of the go-to-market, acting as the lead of the corresponding Portfolio Epic/features in front of airline decision makers. Understanding wide and constantly refreshed Market Needs (to drive Capabilities and align with OKRs). Facilitating & alignment of cross-functional ARTs and with other Business Domains. Active and proactive communication to a maximum of internal stakeholders. Playing an active role in the preparation of relevant PI events and key SAFe ceremonies.
