Currently, we're hiring a Product Development Manager for a multinational company on the seeds industry withing the R&D department.
The main responsibilities will be to implement the newest techniques for accelerated breeding and trait integration programs for seed crops, while running all operations in the Product Acceleration Facility.
Your daily tasks: Designing and implementing highly efficient workflows, combining different accelerated breeding techniques (planting, sampling, speed and molecular breeding).
Improve and implement standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with key stakeholders in the planning process for the optimal use and efficiency of the facilities.
Establish seamless operations guaranteeing high success rates and timely deliveries for customers.
Coordinate and monitor KPIs while working with an international team in close collaboration among departments.
REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS Required: Degree in Agriculture, Biology, Genetics or Biotechnology.
+3 years of experience in R&D within the seed industry.
Experience with nursery activities and fast-breeding or trait integration procedures.
Experience with greenhouse management and pollination.
Professional level of English and Spanish is a must.
Knowledge of agronomic and operational management of field nurseries.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Master's or Doctoral degree in plant breeding, genetics or plant biology.
Knowledge of agronomic and operational management of field nurseries.
Practical experience in molecular-marker analysis interpretation.
