The Group has 135 operating units (84 of which with production facilities) in 35 countries, a turnover in 2021 of 1,877 million Euros and 8,000+ employees.Main Responsibilities / ActivitiesVolpak is seeking to incorporate new skills and experience to the team, for this reason, we are looking for a Product Engineer who:Designs and implements improvements on the existing machines features with the goal of enhancing performance, costs and reliability respecting the constraints of time, quality levels, technical standards and defined KPIs.Ensures the new design products are ready to be industrialized in all areas from Engineering to Assembly.Proposes opportunities to improve costs starting from the design point of view.Tracks costs evolution for standard design parts.Delivers technical information to organization regarding improved design.Transfers engineering know-how into norms/rules, establishing standardized procedures.Ensures the maximum standardization designs in order to minimize the inventory obsolescence.Special Projects / ChallengesKey Competences / Leadership Attributes- Proactiveness and leadership aptitude is a must- Result oriented and innovative approach- English language, intermediate level. Others would be an advantage- Availability for sporadic trips (Catalonia area)Basic Requirements- Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Industrial or similar)- At least 5/6 years of experience in similar role- Proven experience as a Costs Engineer in a manufacturing company- Fabrication processes deep knowledge- Proven experience of 3D CAD software (Solidworks or similar)- Knowledge in additive manufacturing- Knowledge in CADENAS or similar would be a plus- Knowledge of Windchill- Technical aptitude to collect and analyze data for determining an improvement strategy- Teamwork attitude- Good understanding of customer needs- Knowledge of Office tools: MS Word, MS Excel- Knowledge in SAP would be a plusJob Reference: CGS09463
