Joining a FTSE 100 manufacturing organisation with significant market share, they saw continued growth throughout the pandemic.With a highly experienced CPO and a motivated Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely with them to develop and implement the new regional procurement strategy across their key expenditure categories. You will also lead, monitor and advise on all aspects of P2P, procurement process and performance management. This role is poised well to pave the way for further senior leadership opportunities across the organisation.Role:This is a pivotal leadership position, with significant senior exposure across various functions of the business. You will work in close partnership with the SLT and CPO to consistently raise the profile of procurement, focusing on embedding best practices and procurement excellence across all categories of spend.Leading the growing procurement operations department, this is a broad and multifaceted role. You will inherit total ownership of procurement systems, strategies, processes, KPIs and governance across the Iberian Peninsula. You will proactively engage senior stakeholders across the business, overcoming resistance to continuously improve procurement activities. As a key business partner, you will coach, support, and develop P2P and process expertise and regularly interface with finance and country leadership. It is essential that you have previous procurement operations experience, in addition to a natural ability to influence and negotiate with varied senior stakeholders. This role can only be based in Madrid, Spain.Experience:You will demonstrate a wealth of knowledge across the full breadth of procurement operations, with the experience to own, develop and implement strategies across multiple sites and business units.Ideally, you will demonstrate experience gained in a multinational manufacturing organisation.
