Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for a Procurement Manager?in Spain.
Procurement for major capital projects and programmes includes:-
Developing procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate riskDeveloping tender and contract documentation, and Effectively managing the end-to-end procurement process including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reports. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:?
Develop your skill set and knowledge by working with an outstanding team of specialist consultants; Engage and influence clients on procurement of major construction projects and programmes across a variety of sectors including energy, transport, water and real estate; Drive real change by supporting clients in realizing their sustainability ambitions; and Challenge themselves in a market-leading global business. The duties of this role include:?
Providing procurement?advice to clients;? Managing?end-to-end procurement services on construction and construction-services-related projects and programmes;? Developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans; Engaging with the market and supply chain on a national and international level; Providing expertise to embed sustainability within procurement competitions;?and Drafting tender documents and reviewing contract documents prepared by others.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years' experience with 3 years procurement experience for the procurement of capital works, goods or services; and Preferably possess degree related to engineering or quantity surveying Experience in construction, industrial, high tech manufacturing, battery, semi-conductors, pharma and/or manufacturing sector.Business level Spanish?+ English
