The Role : At Masabi, taking payment is a cornerstone of our Justride platform.
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Product Manager with extensive expertise in payment systems, payment gateways, processing, and security standards, preferably in a transit context.
You'll be responsible for leading our e-commerce and contactless EMV payments experience and contributing to the broader vision of the rider's journey across our platform.
Responsibilities : Strategic Vision and Leadership - Define the product vision for our cEMV product, setting near and long-term strategies.
- Understand the payments marketplace, including trends in transit payment, and new technologies and commercial offerings that bring value to our clients and customers.
- Collaborate across Masabi and with partners to define and deliver the cEMV product roadmap, balancing competing demands for new integrations, product features, and technology improvements.
Partnerships and Collaboration - Identify, evaluate, and develop partnerships across the payments ecosystem to offer the best value and experience for our global customers.
Go to Market Support - Understand the nuances of the payment ecosystem in each of the markets we operate in, and define the commercial offerings that best meet our customers' needs in those markets.
- Create effective sales enablement and product library materials to ensure our BD teams and Account Managers can support our customers effectively.
Payment Technology Management - Gain a deep understanding of the payments space through research and regular interactions with customers and partners.
- Engage closely with engineers, QA experts, project managers, UX designers, and other product managers to build an integrated best-in-class payment experience across both e-Commerce and cEMV (contactless EMV).
- Understand and define the constraints, outcomes, and solutions necessary for successful product delivery.
- Identify and measure the KPIs required to ensure our payments platform is effective in the market.
- Understand and enable the PCI compliance and management required to operate an effective service for our customers.
What We Are Looking For : Extensive experience in payment technologies and processes, including familiarity with payment eCommerce and cEMV processing across complex value chains.
Deep understanding of payment systems, including knowledge of PCI and security standards.
Proven strategic and commercial capabilities in the payment space, with the ability to develop innovative commercial models and partnerships.
Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and guiding teams.
Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences, preferably in a payment product context.
Must be approachable, patient and an excellent communicator, a team player.
Experience taking a leading role in delivering multiple complex and innovative solutions.
Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
Executive-level strategy, communication and presentation-level skills.
