DescripciónThe GMEG is looking for an expert on radiology and AI to contribute to the clinic demonstration of an algorithm that predicts the exitance and the location of pancreatic cancer metastasis.It is intended to be a tool to assist radiologists in the evaluation of patients with invasive pancreatic tumors and metastatic disease.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research that aims to develop innovative AI-based methods for treatment decisions for pancreatic cancer.CNIO is an international cancer research center of excellence with an active and stimulating working environment with a multidisciplinary approach to cancer research.The scope of the research carried out by GMEG ranges from identifying aetiological agents and genetic pathways to translating the findings into the clinical and public health domains, focusing on bladder, pancreatic, and breast cancers.To do so, we apply innovative methodology and artificial intelligence (AI) approaches to both hypothesis-driven and agnostic / exploratory analyses to integrate several levels of information, including omics- and image-derived data.Our ultimate goal is to achieve personalized cancer prevention at three different levels: reducing cancer incidence, improving early detection, and increasing the length and quality of life.Criterios de evaluaciónDegree in Medicine or Biomedical Engineering.Knowledge in analysing radiological images.Experience in statistical analysis and AI modeling.Background knowledge or experience in the field of health care and cancer.Proven ability to organize research activities and to write scientific papers.Good written and verbal communication skills.Excellent knowledge of English.Se ofreceThe opportunity to be part of one of the few European Cancer Research Centres of excellence.An excellent working, multidisciplinary environment.Competitive salary.Contract linked to a project.#J-18808-Ljbffr
