Most of the work will be desk-based, but (international) travel for site and customer visits will be required at times (estimated at 5% to 20% of your time, depending on the projects you are involved in).
This position could be based on any of our offices in Iberia, being Madrid, Barcelona, or Zaragoza.Main duties will include but are not limited to:Execute or manage Green Hydrogen related advisory projects, including technology review, conceptual design, technical specifications, procurement support, design review, project schedules, report writing, presentations, courses, etc.Analyze new business opportunities, gather market intelligence and ensure distribution of knowledge amongst relevant colleagues.Build an internal network to gain and share knowledge and opportunities.Participate in the execution of Feasibility / Conceptual and Basic Engineering studies and the preparation and the review of the required procedures, both for proposals and projects in the Energy Transition business.Participate in the preparation and evaluation of the technical proposals and in the support of the commercial proposals for Energy Transitions Projects.Follow up and feed the Section Practice Area.Maintain relations with licensors and technology owners for any requirement, such as, for example, the request for technical and commercial proposals and the organization of technical meetings to improve the knowledge of their technologies, allowing their evaluation and benchmark.About you:Position Qualifications:5+ years' experience in process engineering and 1+ years in the areas of processes related to the lines of work of Energy Transition (green hydrogen by electrolysis and associated BOP).
Process development experience in electrolysis plants (stacks, balance of stacks and/or balance of plant), hydrogen compression, storage, transport (tube trailers, hydrogen pipelines), hydrogen refueling stations, industrial gases, etc.Technical expertise in green hydrogen production.
Collaborate in international multidisciplinary design and consulting teams.
Knowledge of applicable local and international standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements.Experience using process simulation software (for example Unisim or Aspen-Hysys).Experience in developing process documentation: PFD, PIDs, utilities summary, equipment lists, heat and mass balances, etc.Dynamic and enthusiastic team player - co-operates well with others, shares knowledge, experience and information, and supports others in pursuit of team goals.Delivery and Results - completes tasks in accordance with expectations and schedule and with strong attention to details, understanding task urgency; able to juggle and manage conflicting work priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
