The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher.
This position will be funded by project EDISON (2023 CLIMA 00105, Generalitat de Catalunya).

ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in Prof. JR Galán-Mascaros' research group. The postdoctoral researcher will work on the processing of electrocatalysts onto electrode supports and their structural and electrochemical characterization, along with the characterization and validation of full cell electrolyzer devices.
Responsibilities Processing of electrodes and MEAs.Electrochemical characterization (CV, LSV, EIS)Writing of reports and scientific articles.Requirements PhD in chemistry or equivalentExperience in electrochemistryExperience in the processing of materialsAbility to cooperate with experimental teams.Ability to present the results of research in scientific journals and in international congresses and also to a non-scientific audience is a must.Proven excellent knowledge of English.Valued qualities Experience in the engineering of electrode supportsDemonstrated experience in reporting and publishing research results in top scientific journals.Should be motivated, open-minded, highly dynamic, capable of working in a team, making decisions, solving problems, and creative thinking.Strong commitment to scientific research in a competitive environment.We offer A 3-year full-time employment contract.Remuneration according to individual's qualifications/experience.Annual salary split into twelve monthly payments.Incorporation: September 2024.
