The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher.This position will be funded by project EDISON (2023 CLIMA 00105, Generalitat de Catalunya).ICIQ is one of the world's internationally recognized leading institutions in the field of chemistry committed to solving major social and economic challenges by conducting top quality research in three main areas: Sustainable, Catalysis, Renewable Energy, and Health. The institute also aims at training the future generation of scientists by offering high-quality educational programs to master, PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers. ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in Prof. JR Galán-Mascaros' research group. The postdoctoral researcher will work on the processing of electrocatalysts onto electrode supports and their structural and electrochemical characterization, along with the characterization and validation of full cell electrolyzer devices.ResponsibilitiesProcessing of electrodes and MEAs.Electrochemical characterization (CV, LSV, EIS)Writing of reports and scientific articles.RequirementsPhD in chemistry or equivalentExperience in electrochemistryExperience in the processing of materialsAbility to cooperate with experimental teams.Ability to present the results of research in scientific journals and in international congresses and also to a non-scientific audience is a must.Proven excellent knowledge of English.Valued qualitiesExperience in the engineering of electrode supportsDemonstrated experience in reporting and publishing research results in top scientific journals.Should be motivated, open-minded, highly dynamic, capable of working in a team, making decisions, solving problems, and creative thinking.Strong commitment to scientific research in a competitive environment.We offerA 3-year full-time employment contract.Remuneration according to individual's qualifications/experience.Annual salary split into twelve monthly payments.Incorporation: September 2024.#J-18808-Ljbffr
