Postdoctoral Position at Barcelona: The Pancreatic Cancer Lab at the Barcelona School of Medicine, part of the Oncobell program of IDIBELL and the Pathology and Experimental Therapy Department of the University of Barcelona, is seeking a motivated individual to join their interdisciplinary research team. The lab focuses on understanding the heterogeneity in pancreatic cancer tumors and the complex interactions within the tumor microenvironment. The selected candidate will contribute to a funded research project that aims to decipher the consequences of the tumor cell of origin using novel mouse genetic lines and patient-derived ex vivo models.

PhD degree in molecular/cell biology, biochemistry, biomedicine, or equivalent
Biomedical research experience during PhD and/or postdoctoral training
Experience in (tumor) immunology
Animal license certificate up to date
Previous experience in Pancreatic Cancer and/or Pancreas Biology (valued, but not required)
Flow cytometry and in vitro imaging techniques (valued, but not required)
Job Description:
Contribute to a funded research project on tumor heterogeneity, early detection biomarkers, and personalized drug treatment
Use state-of-the-art omics analyses and functional studies with primary in vitro and in vivo models
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary research team
Supervise students and provide mentorship
Demonstrate excellent technical skills in biochemical and cell biology-based techniques
Work with primary human cells/organoids and possess experience in cancer biology
Ensure compliance with Spanish legislation and regulations under a full-time contract
