The Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona (ICCUB) is seeking a Post-Award Research Manager to join their secretariat team.

Job description The Post-Award Research Manager will play a crucial role in supporting ICCUB's Principal Investigators in managing competitive project funds.
Key responsibilities include: Managing grant budgets and preparing financial reports and audits Monitoring budgets and anticipating deviations Overseeing project work plans and scientific reports Ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor regulations Liaising between researchers, funding agencies, and project coordinators Supporting consortium meetings and related project activities Any other duties related to the job as requested to contribute to the general functioning of the ICCUB Office.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, preferably in physics C1 level proficiency in both Catalan and English Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role at a scientific institution Knowledge of project management tools and techniques Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented Familiarity with Catalan, Spanish, and international funding landscapes Excellent teamwork and communication skills Employment details: One-year contract, renewable based on performance and funding Gross annual salary: approximately €29,000 Social security and public healthcare benefits included Starting date: October or November 2024 Location: Faculty of Physics, University of Barcelona The ICCUB is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
