Portuguese Business Development Analyst –Markets (Openbank)

Mission and responsibilities: You will work for Openbank Portugal, but alongside other colleagues of the European team and report directly to the Market Manager for Portugal. The primary focus of this role is to work on the development of the business in Portugal. Your main tasks will include benchmarking and analysis of the Portuguese market, find opportunities for improvement in existing processes, customer journeys and products, maintain relationship with local partners and performing user acceptance testing and monitoring of the ongoing business. To succeed in this role, you should have an analytical mind with a "will-do" attitude and be able to translate difficult concepts into practical solutions.
The main tasks of this position will be the following:
Support on the strategic decisions for Openbank in the Portuguese market. Evaluating customer journeys and business processes, uncovering areas for improvement, and help in the design and implementation of solutions. Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities and partners. Assist in the definition, execution and reporting of User Acceptance testing. Monitor customer pain points, requirements, and potential value that can be delivered by Openbank in Portugal. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members. Impact through projects, collaborating with various team members to innovate and implement growth strategies. Work with marketing and campaigns on new initiatives. Working closely with clients and internal stakeholder. Monitor on regular basis the Portuguese banking and investments market. To be successful in the role you must have +0-3 years of experience in a similar role. Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or similar field. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Strong in terms of communication, cooperation, and with a 'just do it' mentality. Organized with attention to detail. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine practical solutions. Strong competency in Microsoft Excel. Strong competency in data analysis. Native Portuguese, Fluent in Spanish. English would be a plus! What do we offer? Joining a dynamic and agile company undergoing international expansion.
