PLA Manager Madrid Madrid, Community of Madrid, ES As a Manager, you will work closely with client leadership teams to understand key challenges, define IT strategies, win buy-in for recommendations, and lead BCG case team members to transform client potential into performance.
You will deploy customized IT strategies, digital platforms, and architecture to leverage digital potential with state-of-the-art tools like cloud computing, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization.
Besides giving direction on project execution and management, you will be responsible for larger, highly technical, and complex modules within the project.
You will develop specialized knowledge to help solve client problems, apply sound technical know-how, and demonstrate intellectual leadership directing diverse consulting talent teams.
You will take on team lead responsibilities, contribute to Practice Area development, and help build the BCG brand as a digital leader.
You will develop and grow by being exposed to new and complex challenges daily, and you will help team members flourish through thought leadership, team mentoring, knowledge sharing, and creating opportunities for growth.
10+ years of experience in IT Strategy and consulting, professional software development, or IT project management Relevant experience from a top consulting firm, focused on technology and digital initiatives, with experience leading IT implementation and strategy projects A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, and able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, strong customer focus, mental agility, and results orientation Experience with managing decision processes at C-Level Deep expertise with modern tool-sets in Agile environments, legacy modernization, and modern approaches to technology Ability to drive operational and client service excellence, presenting project results to C-Level Experience organizing workshops and facilitating client meetings Strong business acumen, able to frame complex problems in business contexts A University degree with above-average academic performance in STEM-related fields or business management Fluent in Spanish and English Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
