About The Position: The People Relations Manager manages complex employee relations issues, develops HR policies, and provides strategic guidance to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
The position is based in Barcelona or Madrid office, we have a hybrid work pattern and excellent flexible working practices. Applicants must hold valid Right to Work in Spain to apply for this position. Responsibilities: Manage complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.Offer guidance and support to managers on complex employee relations matters, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies.Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolution.Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with local regulations, and handling employee queries.Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.Assist the recruitment team in sourcing, scheduling interviews, and other recruitment-related tasks as needed.Oversee general office operations, especially in the absence of the current Office Manager.Coordinate local employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.Help facilitate day-to-day employment matters including at times performance management/termination.Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Strong knowledge of HR principles, policies, and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and consistency.Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting HR initiatives that drive organizational change and foster a positive work culture.Proficiency in handling complex employee relations issues and providing expert guidance and support to managers and employees.Strong analytical skills to assess HR data and trends, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.Proficient in managing employee relations matters and providing guidance and support to managers and employees.Effective communication and leadership abilities to influence HR strategies and drive organizational change initiatives.CompensationSalary will be commensurate with experience.
