Job ID: 2740927 | Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U.Our multicultural Payroll team is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our Spain Payroll Operations Team in Barcelona. This individual must be customer obsessed and be eager to dive deep into processes. The ideal candidate will have proven record of delivering process efficiency results. The preferred candidate has experience in Spanish payroll process/payroll systems and has the ability to abstract requirements independently. If you would like to join us to make a difference by participating in challenging projects and to make sure our employees are paid accurately and on time we definitely want to hear from you!Key job responsibilitiesOwn the payroll processing cycle for a country or a company depending on size and complexityPayroll Balances and controls at input and output (Source to Gross, Gross to Net)Payroll Accounting supportComplex payroll queries & escalationsVendor operations managementPoint of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury and others)Projects: process improvement (Six Sigma), country expansions, new payroll setupA day in the lifeWhat is awaiting you in our Payroll team?"What I like the most about payroll is the opportunity to contribute to many cool projects that will have positive impact on our employees". You're never bored!"BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of experience in Spanish Payroll- Fluent in Spanish and English- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas)- Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details- Experience with Spanish Labor Code, Taxation, Social Security SystemPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law- Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software- Experience with process transitions- Sense of innovationAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
