Our Team: We are currently looking for a driven and organized People Operations Specialist to join our European People team as we look to create a team member-centric People organization across our remote-first European entities. The People Operations Specialist provides front-line support to team members for their assigned locations (with primary focus on either Spain or Germany), covering all aspects of the team member lifecycle. This includes responding to inquiries, advising team members on benefits and entitlements, managing team member records (including onboarding and offboarding activities), and benefits administration. The role reports directly to the Sr HR Manager, European region. What You Will Do: Manage team member queries by answering location-specific questions and redirecting to other internal teams when required. Be responsible for the management and tracking of team members' lifecycle events: HR files, probationary periods, onboarding, leaves of absences, time & attendance, and off-boarding. Act as a system administrator for our HR Database, managing the accuracy of team member data and paperwork requirements. Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including communications, paperwork, and drafting employment contracts in DocuSign. Provide benefits support: administering local programs, benefit enrollments, and vendor invoicing. Liaise with Payroll: Prepare monthly summary of changes for Payroll. Support the voluntary termination process: sending necessary paperwork and conducting exit interviews when required. Keep informed on changes in legislation, policies, or programs that may affect team members. Assist in developing and/or documenting HR policies and procedures.
